The Epstein Files Transparency Act (passed near-unanimously by Congress and signed into law in November 2025) mandated the Department of Justice to release all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials related to Jeffrey Epstein by December 19, 2025. That deadline came and went.

As of mid-January 2026, the DOJ has released only 12,285 documents (roughly 125,575 pages) — confirmed as less than 1% of the total trove.

Over 2 million documents remain under review and redaction, with bipartisan critics (including Reps.

Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie pushing for a special master/monitor and exploring contempt charges) calling out the heavy redactions, slow pace, and violations as ongoing harm to survivors and the public.

This is unacceptable.

Survivors deserve justice.

The public deserves the truth.

Elite impunity ends here.
